Beaded Christmas Tree by minami63 Beaded Christmas Tree by minami63
My friend Eleanor had two small beaded Christmas trees in her collection and every time I visited her, you could always find me staring into their glass display cases, trying to figure out how those miniature marvels were made. Several years ago, I finally made up my mind to try making one of my own and this is the result. The tree is 10" tall and is comprised of 10,000 specially ordered Czechoslovakian seed beads and three spools of bead wire. I should have actually used a thicker gauge of wire because then the branches would have held up better under the weight of the glass beads. The ornaments are also hand made and I even stitched the little skirt by hand. This is definitely the pride of all of my Christmas crafts.

man,i can't seem to stop looking at this thing just trying to figure out how you did it. But i guess the main problem is i have no idea where i could buy small enough wires that could fit in beads.
