This collection of origami lilies measures 6" tall. I made a full-sized version to give my Mom for Mother's Day, then decided that I wanted to try making a miniature version for myself. The flowers, leaves and stems are all made from folded paper.

Miniature Origami Lilies by *minami63 have a strikingly realistic look and the composition really proves that. This is a gallery not to be missed! (Featured by ^PurpelBlur)
Wow! Those are really pretty. The dice-box terrarium is a great touch.
The composition gives the feel of real lillies, well done! How long did that take to make?
Some "goo-gone" should take that sticky price-tag mark off the top of the box.
It took me about six hours from start to finish. Thanks for the advice about the gunk from the price tag. That darn spot has been driving me crazy but everything I do only seems to make it worse!

The box is actually two separate pieces, but it took me a while to get the arrangement just right because the flowers would squish everytime I closed the lid. I had to keep opening the box, fixing the flowers and closing the box again, until I was happy with it. Thank you!

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
